Key Ideas
  • f5 is the thematic break once the GPA setup is complete
  • After f5 exf5, Bxf5 or exf5 with Ng5 both work
  • The attack targets f7 and the kingside

Once you have Nc3, f4, Nf3, Be2, and 0-0, the f5 break is the main plan. It opens lines and often leads to sacrifices on f7 or g7.
